The tendency for stocks that have been beaten up on the year to rise into the end of year and first few days of the new year is termed the January Effect. While some may take claim for this as their own invention, the tracking of this trend has been around for many years.
Being that it is mid-November, it's time to start thinking ahead. Don't be scammed into paying for a "great deal" that offers a laundry list of promises that are never fulfilled. I'm going to be giving a class on how to pick January Effect stocks for an even better deal!

Nice sized gap up
S&P Futures tested 1100 and beyond overnight, but pulled in before the open
We are watching for a fade here to see how far it can pull in

Recap for November 10th/Look ahead for November 11th
We had a "bob and weave" day on Tuesday as Monday’s trend day got digested. Yesterday’s aforementioned 78.6% Fibonacci retracement break still held, so the upside target for now is still a test of highs on the $SPX.
If Tuesday was just a pause day, then we have a good chance to rocket to those highs early on Wednesday. If it was something more, like a last gasp, then we could turn right here. Volume has been light on this bounce, but that does not mean we can’t go higher.
Wednesday is Veteran’s day, and in my opinion it is a travesty that the market is even open. The true heroes of this Country are not even given the courtesy of a day of respect. I for one will be sporadic at best, so don’t look for many updates.

Tuesday November 10th
Good morning everyone!
After yesterday's trend day higher, we are looking for a "bob and weave" day, where we stay in a compressed range early on, looking for possible expansion later on in the day.
Based on the close yesterday, we do have an upside target of a test of highs.
