There was a great episode of American Greed that just ran on CNBC called "Scammers". One guy was an ex-Minister that scamemd people out of 600 mln and the second part had to do with art fraud. Looks like Season 2 and episode 10.
If you catch the rerun over the weekend, give it a watch. Hopefully they wll be doing a part 2 or even part 2 and 3 in the next few months as more people get exposed for the scams they run on the public.

Resistance to watch Monday
We had a pretty good pull in into the end of the shortened day on Friday. While we barely closed above the half way point for the session, we were still nicely red for the day with a nasty negative breadth reading. If we do get upside on Monday, the 1103-1104 level basis the S&P Futures have good volume based on the 3-day merged profile of Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Some free classes coming up
I will be giving some free classes in the next few weeks to help us gear up for the new year. 2010 is going to be our best trading year eva and don't you forget it! Be ready to reap the profits!
The first class will be a general class on trading the market. I'll cover gap fades, earnings runs, and other tendencies that the market shows. While some will try to spin a class just for the "current market" I will be showing techniques that have worked for YEARS.
Say tuned for details but it will likely be Tuesday of this week coming up.
The next class will be the January effects class. This tendency was first discovered in the 1980s, and can be an effective way to start the year. I will discuss the tendency and then show you how you can make your very own list, and yes we will construct one during the class! Don't get scammed into paying for a list that is constructed of picks from other servies!
Finally, options can be very confusing, especially when the person teaching them is confused themselves! I will be going over a basic options class followed by some strategies that you can use in your trading right away.

Have postive thoughts for my friend Dena
Yes this is a trading blog, but there is also more to life then just trading. While some of us were with their family and friends on Thanksgiving, my friend Dena had to spend another holiday without her daughter, and it just isn't fair.
Please have positive thoughts for my friend Dena. Hopefully this is her last holiday season without her daughter. Hopefully the justice and goodness in this world will come through and Dena will receive her daughter and be able to share the love of the holidays, and just any random day with her. Life is indeed to short to not spend as much time as possible with those you love because someone is keeping them away from you.
